The Oscars 2019 are all set to charge ahead without a host this year after Kevin Hart dropped out due to his past homophobic comments that resurfaced on Twitter

After Kevin Hart recently stated that he will not take on the gig, after stepping down previously, he made it clear that he will not be entertaining the idea further. "It gets no more energy", he said. "Right now from a time perspective, I don't really have time". "There is no more conversation about it".

The last time the evening had no host was during the 61st Academy Awards in March 1989, which began with a widely mocked musical number starring Rob Lowe and Snow White.

Sources told THR that the show that several "Avengers" stars were asked not to present at last Sunday's Golden Globes so that they're appearance at the Oscars could be more impactful for fans of the franchise.

Vegas police want Ronaldo's DNA for alleged rape in 2009
Authorities are now asking for Ronaldo's DNA to see if it matches that found on Mayorga's dress from the 2009 night in question. Christiansen, reiterated the player's innocence in a statement obtained by BBC Sport correspondent Dan Roan on Thursday.

"The Academy had been considering welcoming Hart back if he had used the opportunity in an interview with Ellen DeGeneres to demonstrate contrition for his anti-gay jokes and recommit to hosting the show", the Variety report reads.

It's unclear who might be available or how exactly they might be factored into the show, but theReporter notes that ABC is hoping for as many Marvel stars as possible, noting that Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, and Samuel L. Jackson already appeared on 2013's show.

All in all, the move would be fantastic promo for Avengers: Endgame, which hits theaters April 26.
