The trailer shows Castle in a bar, opting to burn the presidential pardon he was granted at the end of Season One whilst also hinting that he is going 'Back to Work'.

Marvel's The Punisher Season 2 is Executive Produced by Steve Lightfoot, along with Jeph Loeb (Marvel's Daredevil, Marvel's Jessica Jones), and Jim Chory (Marvel's Luke Cage, Marvel's Iron Fist). It appears that the return of the vigilante Frank Castle is right around the corner. Though no official release date is included in the video, a now deleted tweet from the Netflix account for the Middle East and North Africa listed the series' premiere date as Friday, January 18 (via Comic Book). Helping him to embrace his inner antihero will be villain John Pilgrim, played by Josh Stewart, who describes his character as "a man who is a Christian Fundamentalist who had a rage, a violent side of him".
