Tottenham Hotspur have launched an investigation into allegations that star attacker Son Heung-min was racially abused during Spurs' defeat against Manchester United on Sunday.

James Dickens, a Spurs fan and season ticket holder, as well as the editor-in-chief at Goal, aired the allegations on his own twitter account, after hearing abuse aimed at the South Korean from his seats.

Dickens said he is working with the club to identify the supporter.

A Spurs fan tweeted that he felt compelled to confront another member of the home crowd after being disgusted by what he heard.
