Trump to Travel to Border, Deliver Primetime Speech?

As others have pointed out, both President Obama and President Clinton had big prime-time addresses ignored by the networks when they were deemed insufficiently newsworthy.

Trump will make that speech.

He will focus his speech primarily on immigration, according to multiple reports.

Sarah Huckabee Sanders, the White House press secretary, said Trump would travel to the U.S. -Mexico border on Thursday.

As we reach the 17th day of the government shutdown, neither Trump nor the Democrats have much to show in the way of progress.
