Voting results for 2019 NBA All-Star Game starters

The league announced five starters from each conference for next month's All-Star game, which were broken down with two guards and three frontcourt players voted in from the East and the West.

Starters for the 2019 NBA All-Star Game were selected by fans, current NBA players and a media panel.

Adams was beaten out in the forwards category by superstars LeBron James, Kevin Durant, and Thunder teammate Paul George.

Elsewhere on the Eastern Conference team are captain Giannis Antetokounmpo, Kawhi Leonard, Irving and Joel Embiid.

"When I got traded here, it was nearly people thought it was going to be the end of me being an All-Star coming out to the West but God is good", George said. "I might as well".

I executed a lot of great shots. "Shoot, I'm still leading, obviously, it's fantastic. I did that with an eagle-birdie-birdie start, and kind of just kept flowing.

Captains and starter versions of the 2019 Jordan Brand NBA All-Star Edition Authentic and Swingman jerseys are available on and at select retailers.

James is making his 15th All-Star game appearance. For me, I just go out there and try to put the work in every single day, and whether it's the fans or my peers or the media that votes, it's an honor. Reserve player jerseys will release January 31.

Why did Wade not get voted in as a starter despite having the second-most fan votes among East guards behind only Irving?

Walker has been on fire this season, and is averaging 25 points per game. He's averaged 27.2 points, 13.3 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 2.0 blocks. Last season, he received his first nod as an All-Star starter and didn't disappoint.

In another absurd selection, players who haven't featured in many games this season were also voted in by their fellow players including Demarcus Cousins, who has featured for only three games so far this season for the Golden State Warriors, Carmelo Anthony, who has played in 10 games this season, Bojan Marjanovic, Kostas Antetokoumpo and Ryan Anderson. Within a couple of years, there is no question that he will be an All-Star if he continues getting better after each season.
