Wilder-Fury Rematch Deal Being Sorted Out, Says Frank Warren

"The Gypsy King" should have spent Christmas proudly shining the WBC heavyweight belt after his stunning performance against Deontay Wilder last month but either incompetence or shady judging ruled the contest a split draw.

The big Brit is back in training in Spain and looking eager and fit to have another crack at Wilder with negotiations set to resume between the two camps for what will be a hugely lucrative sequel.

"I'm just maintaining my fitness really, I'm [as] fit now as I was then, same kind of thing, I'm ready to fight".

Tyson Fury says a "holy hand" brought him back from the 12th round knockdown.

He went to Germany to fight Wladimir Klitschko and he went to America to fight Wilder.

He has yet to face the other pair of top class fighters in his division, with fights against Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder yet to materialise. Don't f*** yourself now, mate'.

Ultimately if the rematch with Wilder happens the victor of that bout will be positioned to take on Joshua in a huge unification fight before the year is out. He [Eddie Hearn] said he wanted the fight for Joshua with Wilder past year when there was $80m on the table, but it didn't happen.

But either of those options seem unlikely for now with Joshua's next option looking to be unsafe Londoner Dillian Whyte.

Tyson Fury promoter Frank Warren has accused Barry and Eddie Hearn of stopping Anthony Joshua from facing off against other top heavyweights, as they attempt to extract every bit of value from their prized asset. Warren says Fury only has eyes for Wilder and Joshua in 2019, probably in that order.

'We're trying to make that fight at the moment, everyone wants the fight and most importantly the fighters want it, ' he told ESPN.

'After that he will want Anthony Joshua and there is no reason from our side why this shouldn't become a reality'.

Of course, there are a couple of people who thinks he's looking a little too thin and "overtrained" - but, by and large, most people are very impressed to see him in such great shape.
