The Grammy and BRIT Award victor will play the LGBT+ event at Mayfield on Sunday 25 August.

Ariana Grande has urged her fans to buy see-through bags before attending her upcoming world tour.

She is joined by the likes of British synth-pop band Years and Years and 80s duo Bananarama and will perform a selection of songs from her Sweetener World Tour set.

The Manchester Pride Festival is slated for August 25, according to the event's Twitter account.

While Pride officials have yet to confirm which date Ariana will perform, the BBC reports that she will play in the new 9,000 capacity venue at a converted Royal Mail depot on Sunday August 25.
