Tennis- Australian Open- Fourth Round

To kick off the day, Barty scored her first-ever victory over Madison Keys in the first rubber of the second day of play to put visiting Australia ahead, 2-1.

Barty, an Australian Open quarter-finalist, and Priscilla Hon combined for a tense doubles victory, the pair beating Nicole Melichar and Danielle Collins 6-4, 7-5 to clinch the tie 3-2 and set up a semi-final clash with Belarus in April.

- As a junior, Barty was one of the top players in the world, winning the 2011 Wimbledon girls' singles title and reaching a career-high ITF World Junior Ranking of No. 2 in 2011. "It's just really special that I'm able to be here". "I mean, this is my dream come true - I've always wanted to play for Australia", Hon said. "I've never sweat so much before", she admitted. "Even playing for myself, I know what nerves are, but just having your whole team, you're playing for Australia obviously, it's a complete different feeling".

It was a risk, with Gavrilova winless in 2019.

Gavrilova was pencilled in for doubles. Molik instead slotted Hon alongside Barty and they played like a veteran doubles team.

Various other sources have suggested that, in reality, the number of Syrian refugees in Lebanon could be as high as 1.5 million.

The victor of the tie will move on to play Belarus or Germany in the Fed Cup semi-finals in April.

"But we'll have the home advantage". "For all of us, I'm so proud of every single person sitting on this table".

Australia's No.1 Ashleigh Barty delivered three points overall, and two on the final Sunday, to lead her country into the Fed Cup semifinals for the first time in five years.

Belarus beat Germany 4-0 in Braunschweig, as Aryna Sabalenka cruised past Laura Siegemund 6-1, 6-1. She has also advanced to seven doubles finals, including four at Grand Slam tournaments-Roland Garros in 2017 and the Australian Open, Wimbledon and the US Open in 2013, all with Casey Dellacqua.

The other Fed Cup semi-final will be France against Romania.
