Matt Duchene has joined the Blue Jackets via trade.

The Senators were reportedly getting a package including prospects Vitaly Abramov and Jonathan Davidsson in return, as well as a first-round pick.

Columbus also receives defenseman Julius Bergman from Ottawa. The Athletic's Aaron Portzline, Tom Reed and Alison Lukan share their initial reactions, possible ripples through the rest of the National Hockey League trade market.

Sony's Xperia 1 will reportedly replace its flagship XZ smartphone range
Remember Sony Xperia? It looks like the company is planning a grand comeback to the smartphone world at the MWC 2019. The handset will sport a dual 12-MP + 8-MP camera setup at the rear with double optical zoom and bokeh effects.

Duchene, 28, is set to be a restricted free agent after the season, and according to TSN, there have been no extension talks between the Blue Jackets and Dreger's camp.

Duchene was one of seven Senators players who were recorded in October criticizing the team's poor play and assistant coach Marty Raymond.

In 50 games this season, the former first-round pick - No. 3 in the 2009 draft - has posted 27 goals and 58 points and finishes his tenure in Ottawa with 50 goals and 107 points in 118 games after being part of a three-team blockbuster deal early in the 2017-18 season.
