Cat almost freezes to death, survives

She was living outdoors when her new owners arrived in the Montana neighbourhood of Kalispell and adopted her, but they were left mortified when she was discovered curled up and torpid deep in a snow bank.

Veterinarians in Montana revived a cat named Fluffy that almost froze to death after being found in a snowbank covered from head to tail in ice and snow.

This Jan. 31, 2019 photo provided by The Animal Clinic of Kalispell shows a cat, Fluffy, being treated at the clinic in Kalispell, Mont.

"They used a few different methods to raise her body temperature: warm water, hair dryers, heated towels that were rotated out", Dutter said.

The northern Montana town has been experiencing extremely cold weather and was snowing when the feline was discovered.

"I've never seen this".

Twitter will stop reporting active user metrics, stock plunges
All of that came alongside Twitter's announcement on Thursday that it's changing its user metrics in earnings releases. The company said costs grew primarily because of hiring and expenses related to video content and infrastructure.

"You could tell it was a cat when she came in, but really she was just so packed in ice and snow, you couldn't really tell she was alive until you looked at her and started listening to her and realised that she's still alive", said Dr Jevon Clark, a veterinarian at the animal clinic.

So began the arduous task of bringing Fluffy's temperature back to normal.

The clinic posted pictures of the cat's recovery on its Facebook page.

"Some clients found their injured cat buried in snow".

"She was essentially frozen", said Andrea Dutter, executive director, told CNN. "We - and Fluffy - are grateful for [her] owners for acting quickly in a scary situation".

The cat was discharged to her owners the same night, and when Clark checked her on Tuesday, she appeared to be back to normal, he said.
