Chelsea are set to stick with manager Maurizio Sarri despite alarmingly inconsistent results and the thrashing by Manchester City.

But Chelsea are still only a point away from Champions League qualification and Sarri, 60, has steered them to the Carabao Cup final, where they will play City, again, at Wembley in two weeks.

Lampard also gave an update on Derby's proposed move for former Celtic centre-back Efe Ambrose, who left Hibernian in January and has since been training with the Pride Park outfit.

"My job is here", Lampard told a Derby press conference on Monday, quoted by the Evening Standard.

Following their 6-0 loss to Manchester City, Sarri stated that he "never hears" from the Chelsea owner.

'Friends' Leaving Netflix? WarnerMedia Streaming Service
As Reilly said, "There is no piece of content in the Warner Media portfolio that won't be looked at for the service initially". DC Universe definitely operates that way as well, with some content coming and going all the time .

"With my Chelsea hat on, you have a feeling for it and it's not nice", the former England worldwide told the media on Monday. "We're working very hard and my thoughts are on Ipswich Town on Wednesday, and Brighton on Saturday".

"It's not nice and it doesn't happen to Chelsea much, so when it does it's a shock", he added.

Chelsea have a rather tough run of fixtures coming up, which will do Sarri no favours in his efforts to prolong his time as our manager.

"With all top teams, the important thing is that you come back strong, no matter what type of defeat".

"It's certainly a club I respect and a manager that I respect so it wouldn't make me smile or anything different because my job is here", the former England worldwide told British media.
