Sen. Elizabeth Warren: "By the time we get to 2020, Donald Trump may not even be president".

Speaking at a campaign event on Sunday, the day after she announced her intention to run for president, Warren said that Trump may not be a "free person" by the end of the election. She said the party should ask: "Are we going to let him use those to divide us?"

"As we go forward in this campaign, is it going to be chasing every tweet and nasty statement from Donald Trump, or are we going to talk about what's broken in our country and what are our plans to fix it?"

Warren's campaign launch has been shadowed by the controversy surrounding her past claims to Native American heritage. Warren said, according to a report fromThe New York Times.

Democratic presidential candidate Elizabeth Warren on Tuesday made an unannounced appearance at a lunch on the sidelines of a major Native American conference in Washington.

Trump's tweet came shortly after Warrens formal declaration, where she urged a crowd in Lawrence, Massachusetts to back the "fight of our lives" against corruption and slanted regulations in Washington. "In fact, he may not even be a free person".

Ducks Fire Coach Randy Carlyle Amid Losing Streak
He is the only person in league history to reach 1,000 games as a player and serve as head coach for 900-plus contests. Murray shook up the roster with a couple of trades that led to two straight wins, but another losing streak followed.

Prodded by reporters to explain the remark a few hours later in Iowa City, Warren said she was simply noting the proliferation of probes into the president.

Warren recently apologized in private to Cherokee Nation leaders and publicly, on Capitol Hill last week, ahead of her presidential campaign kickoff this past Saturday. "Donald Trump is the symptom of a badly broken system", she said.

Others accused Hollywood of hypocrisy, saying it was okay for them to tweet bad things about Trump, but it was off-limits to do the same about a Democrat.

She might be referring to Trump's tweet Saturday when Trump slammed Warren in what appeared to be a joke about the Trail of Tears, the forced relocation of thousands of Native Americans during the 19th century.

Trump has frequently taken digs at the senator by calling her Pocahontas, a reference to the native woman who lived in present-day Virginia in the 1600s and agreed to marry an English colonist to help ensure peace and protect her people.
