Former NFL quarterback and University of Texas sensation Vince Young was arrested outside of Houston on suspicion of driving while intoxicated early Monday.

In a statement, the Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office says the former Texas Longhorns star was arrested about 4:30 a.m. Monday in the Missouri City area of suburban Houston. As per the report, Young was put in a Fort Bend County jail but was eventually released when he posted bond. He pleaded no contest and was fined $300 after a January 2016 arrest. Young was also ordered to perform 60 hours of community service in his prior case. Footage of the incident showed Young repeatedly refusing to take field sobriety tests.

Vince Young is in trouble for drinking and driving again.

The 35-year-old Young, who was drafted by the Titans third overall in 2006 and went on to win Rookie of the Year, has been out of the National Football League since 2011, when he appeared in just six games for the Eagles. In the final game of his college career, Young threw for 267 yards and rushed for 200 additional yards and three touchdowns as Texas knocked off No. 1 USC, 41-38.

The Titans cut ties with Young following the 2010 season, during which he confronted head coach Jeff Fisher after being kept out of a game in which he's injured his thumb.

He attempted a comeback with the CFL's Saskatchewan Roughriders in 2017, but was waived after suffering a hamstring injury.
