Enter our heroes, seen going about their morning routines (Hobbs having a bowl of cereal, Shaw downing a pint) while we hear their eventual recruiter assessing the threat: "Our target's name is Brixton... he's a ghost".

Now The Rock and Jason Statham have teamed up for their own Vin Diesel-less adventure, and the first trailer does not disappoint.

Fast & Furious lovers, get excited. Directed by David Leitch (Deadpool 2) from a script by longtime Fast & Furious narrative architect Chris Morgan, the film is produced by Morgan, Johnson, Statham and Hiram Garcia. It is fully an action-packed entertainer and the first spinoff from the Fast and Furious.

The first ever feature-length trailer for Dwayne Johnson's Hobbs & Shaw has finally dropped, ahead of the film's theatrical release on July 26th. Hobbs & Shaw takes place two years after The Fate of the Furious.

Savage arrested by ICE, which claims he's from the UK
I want to give back to the community, help the kids, get them uniforms, books, book bags, everything they need ... just do better. He apparently entered the US legally in 2005, but his visa expired and he reportedly is here illegally, according to TMZ .

With any luck, then, Hobbs & Shaw will serve as more than just a retread of the Fast and Furious movies but with a smaller cast. I guess it could be another nuclear site, but the synopsis does say Chernobyl... anyway, Idris Elba doesn't have bulletproof clothes in real life either so I should probably stop sweating the details. WWE star Roman Reigns is set to play Hobbs's brother.

You have to love that there's so much stuff in Hobbs & Shaw, they actually made an extra-long trailer to show it all.

We remember a time when Fast and Furious was all about cars, and racing, and everything in between.
