Xiaomi itself leaks Mi 9 specs, images and camera samples

It has been known for a while that the Mi 9 would have a triple camera, but Xiaomi hasn't just confirmed this, it has shared the core specs for the camera too. For Xiaomi fans, the excitement levels were spiked with some official first look at the upcoming flagship, the Mi 9, and it doesn't stop at that.

According to leaked images of the Xiaomi Mi 9 box, this smartphone will support a 20W wireless fast charge which is higher than the 15W wireless fast charge used by the Huawei Mate 20 Pro. The handset will have a 1080 x 2220 resolution (FHD+). That works out to an aspect ratio of 18.5:9.

EPL: Higuain ready to dump Chelsea with Sarri's future in doubt
Sarri suggested after the heavy defeat at the Etihad Stadium last weekend that he had never spoken to Abramovich. The Sunday Express claim, however, that victories in the crunch games will only delay Sarri's departure.

In addition, the Xiaomi Mi 9 uses a 6.39 inch AMOLED display from Samsung. We could see a couple of different configurations of the phone including one with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, and another with 8GB of RAM with 256GB of native storage. The main sensor has been revealed to be a 48-megapixel unit that employs the 4-in-1 Super Pixel technology - something that is commonly called pixel binning - to extrapolate the 12-megapixel count to an effective 48-megapixel resolution. The 48MP primary sensor will feature a Sony IMX586 sensor, wide-angle lens, f/1.75 aperture, and 0.8μm pixel size. The optical zoom means you should get better quality close-ups - although like many zooms the aperture is smaller, so is going to need good light for the best results. It will allow you to make the background blur for your portrait images. Adding wide-angle opens up a range of options that you can't create digitally, letting you get more in the pictures you take. However, the other two memory tiers will reportedly cost CNY 2,899 and CNY 3,499, respectively. A 3500mAh battery will supposedly power up the Mi 9 (4000mAh for the Explorer Edition), and the Mi 9 should be pre-installed with Android 9 Pie and Xiaomi's MIUI 10 interface. The variant with a transparent back will cost nearly CNY 5,999.
