Big Pokemon News! New Snapshot Feature Coming to Pokemon Go!

Niantic, the company behind Pokemon GO, has just announced it will release a new feature meant to breath new life into its game - photo mode.

The new feature can be utilized by navigating to either a specific Pokemon in your storage or accessing the camera through the bag. You can see samples of the kinds of screenshots you can take below; more details about the feature are available on the official Pokemon Go website. Pokemon and reality are getting increasingly closer to each other!

Furthermore, once your Pokemon is in the desired location, you can move around it in order to get that ideal angle. There'll also be some degree of interactivity with your Pokemon, as swiping across it will get its attention and cause it to look directly at the camera. After all, who wouldn't want to share their photos of their Pokemon to social media?

Teen defies anti-vaccine parents, gets shots
In November, the 18-year-old went on the online message board Reddit to ask where he could get up to date with his vaccinations . For instance, two doses of the vaccine against measles is 97 percent effective, according to the CDC.

"We've been inspired by the incredible photos Trainers have taken in AR+ mode and exploring new ways to further bridge the digital and physical worlds through Niantic's enhanced AR technologies" Ryuta Hiroi, Niantic's product manager, said in the statement. Consequently, there is no release date set.

Still, when it is live, we'll all be able to become Pokemon photographers, and with no sequel to the much-loved Pokemon Snap in sight after all these years, we're sure some people are going to love to dig into this feature.
