"I did inhale", Harris responded, before bursting into laughter.

So, either Harris lied about who she listened to while smoking (or, more charitably, doesn't remember who she listened to and named the first artists she thought of), or she actually had her one "joint" while she worked as a deputy district attorney putting people away for smoking marijuana.

Harris quickly responded, "Definitely Snoop, Tupac for sure". "It was a long time ago, but yes. I just broke news". "At that time, Harris would have been studying law at UC Hastings; it seems unlikely that she would have been closely following underground Maryland hip-hop".

Host Joy Behar chimed in: "In the age of Trump, I think marijuana should be mandatory, frankly". "We need more joy".

So what about the timing?

A few minutes later, the hosts inquired about what type of music she likes and what she was listening to while stoned in college.

Sen. Kamala Harris got rapped for getting her rap eras mixed up when she told radio interviewers that she listened to Snoop Dogg and Tupac Shakur while smoking pot in college - even though she graduated in 1986, years before they hit the scene. And Tupac's debut album, "2Pacalypse Now", was released in 1991.

'Friends' Leaving Netflix? WarnerMedia Streaming Service
As Reilly said, "There is no piece of content in the Warner Media portfolio that won't be looked at for the service initially". DC Universe definitely operates that way as well, with some content coming and going all the time .

On Power 105.1's Breakfast Club show, co-host Charlamagne tha God asked Harris whether she had ever indulged in the drug.

Later Monday, Harris reiterated her support for the federal legalization of marijuana. In a New York Times editorial published in January, law professor Lara Bazelon argued that Harris's record did not align with her presentation as a "progressive prosecutor".

Harris is a former drug warrior who is now refashioning herself as pro-legalization. For years after the cultural tide had turned in support of criminal justice reforms, Harris continued to support lock-'em-up policies that disproportionately hurt minorities.

Reason's Scott Shackford also wrote that Harris isn't being forthright when it comes to not previously being opposed to marijuana legalization. She flubbed a marijuana story.

When Harris was running for attorney general in 2010, her campaign said, "Spending two decades in courtrooms, Harris believes that drug selling harms communities".

Ten states and the District of Columbia have laws permitting recreational use of marijuana, according to the National Conference of State Legislatures.
