In one of the most freakish, confrontational postgame press conferences you'll see, Kevin Durant bashed reporters regarding recent reports on his upcoming free agency. About 30 minutes after Durant chipped in 23 points and the Warriors cruised to a 39-point blowout over the visiting San Antonio Spurs, Durant decided he finally wanted to talk.

"I just don't trust none of y'all".

Durant, who previously ripped media reports stating he wouldn't want to play with LeBron James, could be subject to penalty if he continues avoiding the press until next Saturday, when the National Basketball Association holds All-Star Media Day in Charlotte. Y'all come in here every day, ask me about free agency, ask my teammates, my coaches.

"Durant was particularly incensed by a controversial article by The Athletic's Ethan Strauss which suggested many figures around the National Basketball Association believe Durant is headed to the Knicks, prompting the 6'10" superstar to call out Strauss by name.

Still, it seems unlikely that that will occur, particularly if Kevin Durant walks.

"I have nothing to do with the (New York) Knicks".

As for whether the attraction is mutual, well, Durant isn't saying, nor is he giving reporters the opportunity to ask him about it. Trying to tear me down with my words. Instead, he's keeping mum, and in so doing, keeping his offseason plans very much a hot topic.

Speculation over Durant's future has intensified during the free agency window after the Knicks traded Kristaps Porzingis and other players to the Dallas Mavericks on February 1.

If you're a Durant supporter, you probably were standing up and applauding his direct criticism of the way he's been covered nationally, locally and most specifically by The Athletic.

Then Durant, visibly frustrated, uncorked a long response at the media and the reports attached to his free agency. According to reports, Kevin Durant believed he was going to be viewed as the best player in the league after the Warriors knocked out the Cavaliers. Those tensions, though, have reportedly cooled, with Green saying recently that he and Durant had a productive conversation about the episode. Durant said. "I didn't feel like talking the last couple of weeks".

"I don't think about that type of stuff, that's your job", Durant said.
