The Grizzlies are by no means known for their high-powered offense, but they scored 31 points in the first quarter against the Lakers and finished the game with 110 points.

"When you've never been there or know what it takes (to win at a high level), sometimes you're afraid to get uncomfortable", James said about the Lakers. "I can not do this, '" James said after the game, via ESPN.

After suspensions, coaching rumors, trade talks, injuries and a locker room that has appeared disjointed at times, the Memphis game was mercifully just about basketball.

Another situation to watch at this point for Lakers fans becomes the Minnesota Timberwolves, who have evened up their record with LeBron and company after defeating the Kings.

After being beaten by the New Orleans Pelicans on Saturday, the Lakers were hoping for a big comeback on Monday night.

Harden's 30-point streak ends as Rockets beat Hawks
During his streak - which puts him behind only Wilt Chamberlain's 65-game run in 1961-62 - Harden averaged 41.1 points per game. Young's hot shooting continued after that when he made his seventh 3 to cut the lead to one again.

The game wasn't all doom and gloom for James, however, as he became the only current player to be in the top 10 list of career points and assists. "I just got to stay positive".

A disgruntled LeBron James says if any of his Lakers teammates are distracted by a push for the playoffs, then they should ask to leave the team. "Keep knocking on the door", he said.

Despite James' concerns about the team, he remains optimistic about their chances of making the playoffs and the Purple and Gold will look to get things back on track on Wednesday night when they host the Pelicans by following LeBron's lead. "It should hurt that we lost, that we went 0-2 on this trip. So that's where we need our mindset to be". So I'm not saying that's what we are as a whole.

While he's been slyly critical of the young core, it's actually the veterans surrounding him that have failed to have the right impact for this team, but most importantly, that a player of his defensive capabilities (injured or not) is failing to put in the effort to close games out with his defensive abilities.
