LG is doing exactly what Samsung is also expected to do with the upcoming Galaxy A-series, which will be phone ready to deliver some of the features seen on the Galaxy S10 in a more affordable package.

LG will announce the LG G8 ThinQ and the V50 ThinQ 5G smartphone at MWC 2019 but before then, the Korean electronics giant has unveiled three new mid-range smartphones.

Next in line is the K50 that sports mostly identical specs to the Q50 including the presence of a water drop notch in the 19.5:9 6.25-inch FullVision display for the selfie shooter. The phone is powered by a 2.0GHz octa-core processor along with 3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Let's have a quick look at the features and specifications offered by the LG K40, K50 and Q60 smartphones. For some context, last year's budget LG K30 launched in the United States at $179, and the mid-level Q7 Plus launched internationally starting at around $450.

Coming to LG K50, the smartphone also features a 6.26-inch HD+ FullVision display with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. LG has equipped the Q60 with triple rear camera setup combining a 16-megapixel main sensor with phase detect autofocus, a 2-megapixel depth sensor and a 5-megapixel sensor that will act as a super wide-angle camera.

Duke will invade the Carrier Dome as nation's top-ranked basketball team
Reaction: Duke got two votes in the initial poll, with some skepticism about a freshman-led team being able to win on this stage. The Big Ten also has six with Michigan, Michigan State, No. 15 Purdue, No. 21 Iowa, No. 22 Wisconsin and No. 24 Maryland.

The front camera is also a 13MP sensor in front for selfies and there is a 3,500mAh battery under the hood. The same devices, including the LG Q60 and the LG K50, pack triple-lens and dual-lens cameras, respectively.

If big, splashy and expensive phone releases aren't your thing, LG just released a few new options for you. The smartphone is backed by a 3,000mAh battery. Starting with what all three phones have in common, there's an as-of-yet unspecified 2.0GHz octa-core SoC, DTS:X 3D-tuned audio, and MIL-STD 810G ruggedness rating.

LG's least capable device of the lot is the K40, which features 2GB of RAM, 32GB of expandable storage, a 3,000mAh battery, and an 8MP front-facing snapper. There is a 13MP selfie shooter at the front.
