NBA La Var Ball Lakers will ‘never’ win a championship if they trade Lonzo Ball By Jesse Reed

LaVar Ball, father of Lonzo Ball, looks on during the first round of the 2017 NBA Draft at Barclays Center on June 22, 2017 in New York City. "I'll tell you this, he can't guard Lonzo on that fast break".

Additionally, he said that if his son does get traded out to the Pelicans, he'll "sit out" the games in protest of the trade. Also, it just got even harder for the Lakers to make a move for Anthony Davis in the summer when the Boston Celtics can bid against them.

"Everyone who's had confidence in Lonzo just let him go and let him win".

Later on, Bayless asked him to clarify his previous statement about Lonzo's significance to the Lakers, to which he replied emphatically "LeBron James without Lonzo is not going to win a championship in LA, I guarantee that".

Sarfraz Ahmed to captain Pakistan at World Cup despite racism ban
Sarfraz Ahmed will continue as captain of Pakistan to the Cricket World Cup despite being banned for a racial taunt last month. Sarfaraz left his side's tour of South Africa early after cricket chiefs suspended him for four games.

After being dangled in trade talks for the better part of two weeks, the Lakers core of young players, aside from Ivica Zubac and Svi Mykhailliuk, can breathe a sigh of relief.

It's nearly like he's doing everything to get his kid off the Lakers, which is just beyond stupid.

Lonzo's dad better learn to zip his lips, or he's going to be on a different team in a couple hours.

Stop us if you've heard this before: LaVar Ball said something nutty.
