The American boxer has never lost a fight in his career and has consistently demonstrated why he is at the top of the boxing world both with his clever self-marketing and impeccable physical performance. No, it wasn't one of those super fights we're so accustomed to from Mayweather, but it did give us an opportunity to see him in the ring again.

Instead, Mayweather would negotiate a boxing exhibition against Tenshin Nasukawa with RIZIN for their RIZIN 14 event on New Year's Eve, which nearly did not happen due to issues surrounding the rules.

This time around, Mayweather says he will face a ex-boxer - but he's unsure of the name or weight class.

Recently after his young protege Gervonta "Tank" Davis won in the ring Mayweather also suggested that Davis will take place in an exhibition in the summer in Japan. However, the boxer has said that he will earn $10 million for his three-round fight, a insane sum for the world-class boxer.

'James Bond 25' has pushed back it's release date again
It was initially to be directed by Danny Boyle, who exited the project abruptly this summer over creative differences. The yet-untitled Bond 25 film will mark Daniel Craig's fifth and possibly the last outing as the famed British spy.

It is unclear who the July opponent would be, but Mayweather said he is Japanese and a former boxer. In exhibitions this year alone, I think I got about four or five exhibitions this year. Three rounds. Yep. Always, always my rules (boxing rules).

Mayweather, 42, was contracted by Japanese fight promotion RIZIN to box their prized asset, Nasuwaka, last year and Mayweather made quick work of the 20-year-old kickboxer, knocking him down several times within the first round. Talking to TMZ, Mayweather revealed he has four or five exhibitions (not counting toward his flawless, unblemished record, of course) lined up this year. Afterwards, he retired once again.

It seems unlikely Mayweather will officially come out of retirement, despite Manny Pacquiao pushing for a rematch with his old rival.
