New ‘Captain Marvel’ Promo Teases Her Place in the Avengers

Fandango, which doesn't reveal the actual sales figures, announced today that at this point in the sales cycle, Captain Marvel is also on track to be the ticket site's third top pre-seller among MCU titles, after Avengers: Infinity War and Black Panther. The Kree are devout, dedicated warriors who value the good of their people above the needs of the individual, and Larson's Carol Danvers - a.k.a. Captain Marvel - has joined their ranks as a member of the elite military team Starforce. Without revealing any further details, Annette Bening stopped and explained her thoughts on the script for the film. You can check out the full interview along with the clip below. Captain Marvel's marketing campaign has leaned heavily on her role as a feminist hero, appealing to girls and women as a strong female lead.

As said in the previous article, we also know from other sources that Bening only appears like she does to Carol Danvers because Bening also plays Carol's mother, though Danvers doesn't recall this fact.
