Woman smashes restaurant window with baseball bat after patty not available

A woman flew into a rage when she learned that a Bronx restaurant had no more beef patties in stock - prompting her to smash the eatery's windows with a baseball bat, new video shows.

Surveillance video shows the woman smashing the front of the restaurant.

The unidentified woman went to the Back Home Restaurant about 4:20 p.m. on January 15 and ordered a beef patty, but an employee told her they ran out, police said.

"If something could do something like that over a beef patty, they're capable of doing something else", restaurant owner Simone Johnson said.

Johnson says the woman returned a few minutes later... this time with her weapon. A person appears to try to stop her, but eventually backed away when she continued swinging her bat. Police say that she became upset after ordering a patty and was told that the restaurant had run out of them.
