The final season of Game of Thrones premieres on April 14 and while a full-length trailer of the season is still awaited, HBO has treated its fans with new photos from the season. Entertainment Weekly back in November had already whetted our appetite with the first images from the new season, which presumably will tie up several key Westeros storylines.

Lena Headey will reprise her role as the scheming queen Cersei Lannister and was pictured near to the Iron Throne, over which the wars in Westeros have been fought.
