Oscars 2019: Olivia Colman wins Best Actress for The Favourite

Along with Colman, the list of nominees in the Best Actress category were Yalitza Aparicio (Roma), Lady Gaga (A Star Is Born), Melissa McCartney (Can You Ever Forgive Me?) and Glenn Close (The Wife).

Olivia Colman's reaction after her Best Actress win at the 91st Academy Awards endeared her to everyone watching.

"This is hilarious. I've got an Oscar!" a tearful (and clearly gobsmacked) Colman said as she made her way to the stage, upon which she called costars Emma Stone and Rachel Weisz "the two loveliest women in the world to fall in love with". "I love you very much".

This is a developing post. "And this is not how I wanted this to be", she joked, to Close's delight.

The Favourite follows Queen Anne's (Colman) supposed lesbian love triangle that took place as she ruled over 18th century England in failing health.

For those who would rather not unlock the handset with their hand or face, there is a traditional rear-facing fingerprint scanner. There will be two variants of the LG G8 ThinQ available - one with a dual rear camera and the other with a triple rear camera.

Colman's win meant Glenn Close has extended her losing streak.

"I have to thank a lot of people", Colman said, crying.

The former Peep Show star left viewers in tears with her emotional and humbling acceptance speech after picking up the golden gong for Best Actress at Sunday night's Oscars Awards ceremony.

"Lindy King my agent who took me on 20 years ago - thank you so much". She said, "This is not going to happen again". One poignant moment including her speaking to future generations while adding, "Any little girl that's practicing her speech for the telly, you never know".

And in what has to be an Oscars first, Olivia blew a raspberry as the teleprompter told her to wrap things up. "I used to work as a cleaner and I loved that job, I did spend quite a lot of my time imagining this". Thank you, argh thank you so much.
