Former Colt Pat McAfee announced his next big career move Thursday morning: He's joining the WWE.

The two-time Pro Bowl punter is also known for his stand-up comedy and has made a name for himself in IN through his philanthropy, especially since his arrest in 2010 for public intoxication.

McAfee who is a passionate WWE fan has previously worked on the NXT pre-show panels where he has received plenty of praise on social media for his work and him signing a deal with the company has been expected.

Horse racing at Doncaster cancelled due to equine flu outbreak
The outbreak at the infected yard follows the identification of a number of cases across Europe and the UK. It was mentioned that they may need to put quarantine and biosecurity measures in place.

A natural on camera who initially left the National Football League following the 2016 season at the age of 29 to join Barstool Sports, McAfee will be part of the media arm of the WWE. "What my agent didn't know and what that creepy dude in the ring didn't know is that my dream my entire life has been to be in the WWE".

McAfee's personality is entertaining to begin with, but he will add even more of reason to watch the WWE.

"If I ever get a chance to get back in the ring, here's how that whole thing ended in southern West Virginia", McAfee said before playing a video of himself in the squared circle.
