Of course, one day, we will have to do just that, but he really has set the bar for this kind of thing, something that you expect the BBC are well aware of with Friday's announcement that we can all look forward to new episodes of both Frozen Planet and Planet Earth in the near future. A BBC spokesperson said it was too early to sign up a presenter for the shows, which take years to produce and are due to be aired between 2020 and 2022, but if the 92-year-old wanted to take part then they would "love to have him". "And it stays there for months, so it can get an even bigger audience through word of mouth", he added.

"It's over 200m people, it's urgent, it's instantaneous".

The creator of Blue Planet II has also left the public broadcaster, after working with the BBC's Natural History Unit for nearly three decades.

James Honeyborne's new independent production company, Freebourne Media, said it would aim to make "impactful" and "powerful" nature documentaries - and swiftly signed a deal with Netflix.

While the player option grants Durant a lot of flexibility, it has also caused some serious issues amongst his current squad. Stephen Curry wasn't bad either: He had 19 points, seven assists, five rebounds, two steals and a blocked shot.

"One of the things we're most proud of at BBC America is that we've established the network as the USA destination for the very best nature programming on the planet, from the BBC's award-winning natural history unit", said Sarah Barnett, president of entertainment networks for AMC Networks.

So it is no surprise the BBC has commissioned the third series of Planet Earth - which it has billed as its "most ambitious natural history landmark" ever.

Crews will spend longer in the field than ever before and use new technology to awaken viewers to the "intense struggles of some of our planet's most fantastic animals".

"Sir David is not now attached to the programmes, but the BBC hopes that he will be able to provide narrations". Coming in 2022, the eight-episode season will use the newest technology to capture the same sort of awe-inspiring footage that captured fans' hearts in Planet Earth and Planet Earth II.
