A popular prospect in New Orleans Saints mock drafts may fall a bit further when selections are made in April.

Projected first round draft pick Marquise Brown underwent surgery on a Lisfranc injury last month that will prevent him from participating in the combine and his Pro Day, according to a report from ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Brown is considered one of the top wideout prospects in the 2019 National Football League draft and is expected to be a first-round pick.

Biggest supermoon of the year will happen this week
Cloud cover should be sparse enough across Illinois, Indiana and Ohio Monday evening and night to allow us to see the supermoon. The farthest point in this ellipse is called the apogee and is about 253,000 miles (405,500 kilometers) from Earth on average.

Had Brown chose to participate in this month's combine, some draft experts would have expected him to run in the high 4.2s and low 4.3s, which would have cemented his status as one of the top wide receivers in this draft class, which he still is expected to be.

In his junior season with the Sooners last season, Brown had 75 receptions for 1,318 yards and 10 touchdowns.

That said, Brown was recently mocked to the Saints at 62nd overall by Luke Easterling over at Draft Wire. It's too soon to say that Brown won't be available at that spot, or that the Saints would pass him up.
