Rami Malek was treated by paramedics inside the Dolby Theatre after falling off the stage during the 2019 Oscars. Maybe too excited: The 37-year-old took a tumble, Oscar in hand, after receiving the award.

Malek's was a moving speech, but even fans of the actor had to take umbrage with the film for which he won. House medics confirmed that the actor - who won for his portrayal of Queen's frontman, Freddie Mercury - slipped, but did not fall off the stage.
