Rangers sending Zuccarello to Stars

Dallas has acquired winger Mats Zuccarello from the Rangers for second- and third-round picks, NY announced Saturday.

The second-rounder becomes a first-round pick if the Stars make the third round of the playoffs and Zuccarello plays in at least 50 percent of the team's cumulative games over the first two rounds.

He is now slated to become an unrestricted free agent in July and carries a $4.5 million cap hit.

Zuccarello, 31, has 11 goals and 26 assists in 46 games this season, warming up after a slow start.
