After losing Langford, Michigan State lost three straight, but since then, the Spartans have won four in a row to remain tied with Michigan at 13-3.

The Wolverines aren't playing as well as they were in November and December.

The Wolverines and Spartans fought back and forth all game long and it set up a final few minutes of tense basketball.

Both squads are coming off of a win in their last game, with the Wolverines defeating the University of Minnesota 69-60, and the Spartans overcoming Rutgers University 71-60.

Tsitsipas was seeing the ball very well on Kukushkin's serve and returns, hitting some juicy forehand and backhand winners straight down the line.

The Spartans and Wolverines have split their last 14 head-to-head matchups, but MI has prevailed in the previous three.

It's been a couple years since Michigan State has come to Ann Arbor and in that last trip to play in front of the Maize Rage, the Spartans fell flat on their face in an 86-57 loss. It is a plan that isn't any different than their plan in any other game.

It had the feel of one of those intense battles that would go down to the wire, and it was just that for Michigan and Michigan State basketball on Sunday afternoon.

If the Wolverines accomplish these five things, they'll win their fourth game in a row against their in-state rivals.
