Virginia’s ACC Opponents for Next Three Seasons Announced

The ACC is switching to a 20-game league schedule beginning in 2019-20, and Clemson now knows its opponents for each of the next three seasons. Each team will also have four rotating opponents for a home-and-away series, four home-only opponents, and four away-only opponents.

The Cardinals will have designated rivals Pittsburgh and Virginia both home and away each of the next three seasons will face a varying group of four additional opponents twice and eight once.

The complete ACC schedule for the next three seasons is included in the grid below.

Georgia Tech's men's basketball team is in its third year under head coach Josh Pastner.

The four home-only games will come against Duke, Clemson, NC State and Notre Dame.

Dates and times for all other conference games will be announced in the future.

Virginia Tech gets rivals Miami and U.Va. home and away next season, plus repeat opponents BC, Clemson and Syracuse along with Duke in Cassell Coliseum and on the road.

Next season, Virginia tech will face Duke twice (one home, one away).

Clemson will also play Louisville, N.C. State, Virginia Tech and Wake Forest twice next season.

In 2019-20, the Cavaliers will battle Boston College, Florida State, Louisville, North Carolina, Syracuse and Virginia Tech in home-and-home matchups. The Hokies will also play games at home and on the road against Georgia Tech, UNC, N.C. State and Pitt, home games-only against Louisville, Notre Dame, Syracuse and Wake Forest and road games-only against BC, Clemson, Duke and FSU. The Cardinals' 10 ACC away games will be at Boston College, Clemson, Duke, Miami, North Carolina, Pittsburgh, Syracuse, Virginia, Virginia Tech and Wake Forest. They'll be on the road for their lone games against N.C. State, Syracuse, Virginia and Wake Forest.

In 2019-20, Georgia Tech will play Louisville, NC State, Pittsburgh and Syracuse both home and away in addition to Clemson and Notre Dame, with Duke, Miami, Virginia and Virginia Tech visiting McCamish Pavilion.
