Dogs from affenpinschers to Yorkshire terriers are rounding the rings at the Westminster Kennel Club dog show.

Solar power best bet for the bank account
The heat is on in the NSW election campaign with both main parties promising a solar bonanza. This will include solar panels, solar hot water systems and energy storage batteries.

Also in the final ring were Bean the popular Sussex spaniel, Burns the crowd-pleasing longhaired dachshund, Wilma the boxer and Baby Lars the bouviers des Flandres.

There was drama among finalists that led to six group winners instead of seven competing for best in show. According to the Washington Post, Colton was ruled ineligible for Best in Show because of a "conflict of interest between the dog's owners and the family of the best in show judge". Last year's victor was a Bichon Frise named Flynn.

King the Wire Fox Terrier won for the terrier group. The FS1 4K TV coverage of The Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show starts at 7 p.m. both days.

There have been a wide variety of breeds to claim Best in Show wins in recent years, ranging from Beagle to Terrier, Pekingese to Pointer, and Scottish Deerhound to German Shepard.
