Woman, Daughter Accused Of Murdering Five Relatives

The bodies of five of their relatives were discovered in the apartment and Shana and Dominque Decree told police they had all "wanted to die".

According to police, the search continues for Campbell's 17-year-old son, Joshua Campbell, who authorities believe managed to escape the violence. "He was drinking the Kool-Aid, too".

A teen girl and her mother have been arrested in the deaths of five of their relatives, including three children, who police said were slain in their Pennsylvania apartment in what the suspects allegedly claimed was meant to be a mass murder-suicide plot. "He said they were just goofy, talking stuff, but nothing like this".

Pennsylvania authorities are actively investgiating an incident where a Trenton mother and child were among five found murdered inside a house in Morrisville on Monday.

The victims were identified as Shana's two nine-year-old twin daughters and her Sister Jamilla Campbell, 42, Naa'irah Smith, 25, and Damon Decree, 13, according to authorities. "It just makes me angry because now they want to be sorry but you had the opportunity to save them".

Court records state that when Shana and Dominique Decree were found "disoriented" in the home, the two were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.

The two were arrested after the confession and are charged with five counts of murder and one count of conspiracy.

The bodies were found after Bucks County Children and Youth Social Services Agency performed a welfare check at the apartment on Saturday.

A growing vigil remains at Robert Morris Apartments, which is still considered a crime scene.

"This is a awful tragedy, I just spoke with the family of all five deceased and [they] were all heartbroken".

Shana Decree told baffled investigators that "everyone at the apartment, including the nine-year-olds and the 13-year-old, wanted to die", a probable cause affidavit released Tuesday said.

"We're working on some theories but it wouldn't be fair of me to speculate so I'm not going to", the DA said, stressing that there are no other suspects.

"This is one of the worst homicides we've had in Bucks County", said the Morrisville Police Chief.

Both Shana and Dominique, who had visible injuries to her neck, gave police an account of how they killed each person, prosecutors said in court papers. Her daughter is also expected to be arraigned Tuesday.

Police were called to the Morrisville apartment after a welfare officer made a surprise visit to the home and allegedly found furniture upturned, glass strewn around and walls broken inside.

Her mother claimed it was a murder-suicide pact.

She said Shana killed two of the juveniles and Ms Smith and Campbell choked one of the juveniles.

Two of the dead, Naa'Irah Smith and Damon Decree Jr., were Shana's children.

Decree was arraigned early Tuesday, while Dominique was arraigned in the afternoon.

When questioned at the hospital, Shana and Dominique Decree at first denied knowing what had happened. It isn't clear whether either woman has a lawyer.

A Pennsylvania mother and her daughter are in police custody, accused of killing five of their relatives, according to the Bucks County District Attorney's Office.
