5 things to know about new Saints nose tackle Malcom Brown

The New England Patriots reportedly lost a pretty important piece of their front seven Thursday, as Malcom Brown reportedly has agreed to a deal with the New Orleans Saints.

Brown landed a solid, three-year, $15 million deal in the Big Easy.

The Patriots elected not to pick up Brown's fifth-year option, which set him up for free agency this offseason.

The 6-foot-2, 320-pound Brown could be a replacement for nose tackle Tyeler Davison.

Khloe Kardashian 'upset over Tristan's lack of interest in baby True'
Tristan Thompson and Khloe Kardashian have officially called it quits after the Jordyn Woods' cheating scandal. Khloe could see the cracks starting to appear in their relationship when Tristan didn't want to get married.

Selected in the first round of the 2015 draft, Brown has missed just four games in his career.

Brown does have some pass-rushing ability for a big guy, with 8.5 sacks over his four seasons in the National Football League, and may get better production in a different scheme.

Brown, who turned 25 in February, often was asked to play a two-gap style for the Patriots in which the primary goal was to hold up blockers to allow those behind him to make plays. He made 186 tackles and 8.5 sacks, peaking at 50 tackles in 2016 and three sacks in 2015 and 2016.
