South Africa and Sri Lanka head into Newlands on Saturday for the fifth and final One Day International with the series done and dusted as a contest, but it will be a last chance for a few players to put their hands up for a World Cup spot.

Sri Lanka's bowlers made the Proteas work hard for their runs but, ultimately, they were no match for batting unit that lived up to their true potential, writes SIMON LEWIS.

The win clinched a 5-0 series clean sweep for South Africa, continuing a horror run for the tourists. He was named man of the match.

Leg-spinner Imran Tahir, in his final one-day global in South Africa, took two for 33, while fast bowler Anrich Nortje took two for 35.

The statement says Tyson's other show, " Cosmos ", will return on National Geographic TV and Fox at a date to be determined. Nat Geo made a commitment to investigating the claims, pushing back the March release of Cosmos on Fox and Nat Geo.

The hosts lost Quinton de Kock early for just six in the third over, but Markram and Faf du Plessis (24) added 70 for the second wicket to ensure Sri Lanka wouldn't fight back.

In the end, Kusal Mendis's 56 and a useful lower order partnership lifted Sri Lanka to a respectable total. He was needlessly run out after a mix-up with Priyamal Perera in the 35th over at a time when he could reasonably have been expected to start accelerating.

Sri Lanka have made two changes of their own, leaving allrounder Kamindu Mendis out for batsman Angelo Perera, while fast bowler Kasun Rajitha sits out for spinner Akila Dananjaya. He faced 84 balls and hit three fours. Markram carried on after his captain fell to take South Africa home.
