Apple Card builds on the tremendous success of Apple Pay and delivers new experiences only possible with the power of iPhone.

Apple isn't new to electronic payments. It lives within the Apple Wallet app, and exists across all Apple devices. Customers will be able to get 3 percent cash back for purchases made directly with Apple, 2 percent via the virtual card, and 1 percent when using the physical card. Two-percent will be applied for transactions using Apple Pay.

It also features unique security measures, which include a unique card number which is stored on the user's iPhone.

Apple Card integrates with Apple devices, especially the iPhone and the Wallet app, and tracks purchases and payment in an easy-to-understand interface.

One trend that we did not talk about, but that job-listings data saw coming, was a development for Apple Pay. Direct purchases from Apple users will get three percent back as well. It saw the need for a card with simpler application process, no fees, lower interest rates, clearer rewards programs, and strong privacy and security.

ProudMoney.com, which assesses new credit products, says the credit card may not be as interesting as Apple is making it out to be.

Weekly and monthly spending reports are also provided with Apple Card. Apple has previously offered a more typical branded Visa card in partnership with Barclays. The company said it wouldn't know where customers spend, how much they spend, or what they buy. This comes after a previous article in February which reported that both Apple and investment bank Goldman Sachs had been planning to launch a joint credit card. The financial institution backing the card, Goldman Sachs, won't be able to use your activity to sell to third-party marketers or advertisers. Mastercard will provide cardholders the ability to shop at merchants around the globe.

As noted, Goldman Sachs is looking to innovate in the consumer banking space. The card can be used to make payments worldwide as well. Aside from its music streaming service, Apple Music, the company has also commissioned multiple original shows such as Planet of the Apps and See, as well as a standalone Carpool Karaoke series.

The titanium card, your name and the Apple logo laser-etched on the front, has no card number, CVV code, expiration date or signature for a more secure card. That information will available in the Wallet app, so you can access it you're shopping online or in apps.

Apple today revealed it's launching its own, "better" version of a credit card, called Apple Card. You can sign up now on Apple's website to be notified when it's available.

Apple is entering the finance market with a new credit card called Apple Card. In its fine print, however, the company notes that "late or missed payments will result in additional interest accumulating toward the customer's balance".

Apple revolutionized personal technology with the introduction of the Macintosh in 1984.

Meanwhile, the company is working on a games subscription service for its App Store that will focus on iPhones and iPads and bundle together paid games from different developers, Bloomberg reported, citing people with knowledge of the plans.
