Former Vice President Joe Biden is facing criticism on Twitter after calling the current Vice President a "decent guy" during his speech at the University of Nebraska-Omaha Wednesday. "Dead silence", Biden said today at UNO.

Cynthia Nixon, who ran in the Democratic primary for governor of NY previous year, criticized the comment on Twitter because of the vice president's views on the LGBTQ community. The former "Sex and the City" star called out Biden's complimentary comment about "America's most anti-LGBT elected leader", and the former vice president walked it back. Biden claimed that President Donald Trump had supposedly alienated allies in various statement. Some social media users highlighted Pence's record of upholding traditional marriage and countering the LGBTQ agenda, which has included his reported support of conversion therapy, something he denies. At a rally in St. Charles, Illinois, last fall, Biden called Pence a "decent guy" but noted he doesn't agree with many of Pence's policies.

Mr. Biden agreed, explaining that he made the comment "in a foreign policy context".

During the speech in Nebraska last week, Biden reportedly labelled Secretary of State Mike Pompeo a "good guy" as well.

"I hope I don't come across as condescending, because I don't mean it. Diplomacy matters. Preparation matters", Biden said. I hope the President has learned a really important lesson. "A bad deal is worse than no deal".

Arsenal's Emery after Tottenham draw: Bringing VAR will be 'positive'
The drama came after Harry Kane had rattled in a 74th-minute spot-kick to cancel out Aaron Ramsey's first-half opener. The clash between two North London sides Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal never fails to seize.

After all this, we're still not entirely sure if Biden is running for president, except of course he's running. While he has not confirmed whether he will run, he revealed during an interview on Tuesday that he is close to a decision.

Biden's appearance in Omaha was to mark the inaugural Chuck Hagel Forum in Global Leadership.

Biden, who rarely tweets, responded in less than an hour.

"He has to be careful not to run too much of a potential general election campaign before he even gets in the primary race", said Brenda Kole, an Iowa-based Democratic operative who was a senior adviser to Clinton's 2008 and 2016 campaigns. "He always understood that what matters most in public life - as in all things in life - is character".
