Biden doesn't recall alleged kissing incident from 2014

Joe Biden Accused of Unwanted Kiss While Vice President

Democrat Lucy Flores recounted her experience with the former vice president under the Obama administration in a first-person essay for New York Magazine.

She said in an essay for The Cut that the incident occurred during her campaign for lieutenant governor in Nevada in 2014, when Biden came to the state to help the campaign.

Flores wrote that she was "grateful and flattered" when then-Vice President Biden announced that he was traveling to Nevada to support her bid for Lieutenant Governor.

Flores told The Daily Beast Friday night that she believes Biden is "probably telling the truth" by not remembering the alleged incident. She published a detailed account of what happened when she encountered Biden during an event for her election campaign in 2014.

Just before the speeches, we were ushered to the side of the stage where we were lined up by order of introduction.

'I felt two hands on my shoulders. "I froze. 'Why is the vice-president of the United States touching me?'" Flores recalled herself silently asking.

"I always have been, and that gets me in trouble as well, because I think I can feel and taste what is going on", he told the crowd.

She says Biden then leaned in and "inhaled her hair" before kissing her. "What in the actual fuck?" "'Why is the vice-president of the United States touching me?'"

20 years for man for hoax call that led to fatal shooting
Gaskill and Viner are awaiting trial, according to prosecutors, who wrote in a news release Friday that "swatting is no prank". The sentence in Kansas federal court is a stark reminder of the serious consequences of the deadly prank called "swatting".

'He proceeded to plant a big slow kiss on the back of my head.

"My brain couldn't process what was happening". That imbalance of power and attention is the whole point - and the whole problem, ' Flores said.

Flores said she relayed details of the alleged encounter to some of her team afterward, but she wrote in the article that she had no intention of bringing it up further. I was embarrassed. I was shocked. "There is a Spanish saying, "tragame tierra", it means, "earth, swallow me whole.' I couldn't move and I couldn't say anything". "I couldn't move and I couldn't say anything".

Biden wants to outpace Beto O'Rourke and Bernie Sanders in what some call the "money primary" to enhance his standing, the source said. My name was called and I was never happier to get on stage in front of an audience.

Kissing someone on the back of the head hardly qualifies as sexual assault, but it does highlight a habit of Biden's-getting very close to female friends and supporters. She mentioned the photo of Biden kissing Chuck Grassley's mother on the lips, and whispering in the ear of the Defense Secretary's wife.

Flores wrote that the episode "made me feel uneasy, gross, and confused". On March 29, she finally came forward with her story. She was 35 at the time. When she was 15 years old, she was on juvenile parole; when she was 17, she dropped out of high school.

She went on to say that as a young Latina woman working in the white male dominated field of politics, she was used to feeling uncomfortable, but this awkward kiss crossed the line. These instances were brushed off by some who saw his actions as "lighthearted", and Flores lamented the fact that Biden was able to keep his title of "America's Favourite Uncle" despite myriad publications documenting his actions. In 2009, she successfully ran for the Nevada State Assembly.
