Wonder Woman star Gal Gadot shared a heartwarming message to her fellow superhero, Captain Marvel's Brie Larson, this week, celebrating the opening weekend of the first female-led Marvel movie.

In the post, which went viral later, the user wrote that his dad was given a month to live a "few weeks ago" and that's why he's turned to social media in an effort to get the attention of Marvel members. It ends with a lighter moment featuring Chris Hemsworth's Thor summoning his hammer as Larson looks at him with a deadpan expression.

"God it seems like a thousand years ago".

In any case, the trailer doesn't really give away much when it comes to how the Avengers actually plan to deal with the destruction Thanos wrought. Just in case you need a quick refresher, here's what happens: The first after credits scene is basically a scene from Avengers: Endgame, while the second sees Goose the cat flerken puking up the Tesseract on Nick Fury's desk.

"The world has changed". Wonder Woman was an ace for DC back in 2017, and now Captain Marvel is doing big business too. "All we can do is our best, and sometime the best we can do is to start over". Black and white footage from past Marvel films mixed with glimpses of the upcoming one are also included in the clip.

Cut to what's left of the down-but-not-out Avengers, as Cap and Natasha muster what's left for a last ditch shot at reversing the Mad Titan's destruction.

"I keep telling everybody they should move on".

"Even if there's a small chance, we owe this to everyone who's not in this room to try,"she agrees".
