Clinton rules out another presidential run

Hillary Clinton has confirmed that she will not run for president in 2020.

The former secretary of state, senator, and first lady said she won't make a bid for the White House in 2020, but vowed she's "not going anywhere" during an interview posted on Monday by New York TV station News12.

"I'm not running", Clinton said, yet at the same time telling the local news station that she is going to "keep speaking out".

"I want to be sure that people understand I'm going to keep speaking out", the former secretary of state and US senator from NY said.

Amy Lieu is a news editor and reporter for Fox News.

She said: "I'm thrilled by the exciting, dynamic women who were elected to Congress, and they're already making their mark".

While promoting her book in 2017, she told CBS Sunday Morning she was finished as a candidate, but later opened the door she might make another run - but didn't say when. "I'm not going anywhere".

In an interview with Recode's Kara Swisher in October, Clinton said "No".

Nanga Parbat is the world's ninth highest mountain and a number of deaths have earned it the nickname of "killer mountain". Nardi and Ballard set out on the climb on Feb 22, making it to the fourth base camp by the following day.

The declaration should quell speculation about her 2020 intentions.

'I don't think so, but I love living in NY and I'm so grateful that I had the chance to be a senator for eight years and to work with people across our state, ' she said.

A number of senior U.S. politicians have announced they will be running for the Democratic Party ticket, including senators Cory Booker and Kamala Harris, as well as progressive Senator Bernie Sanders, who lost out to Clinton in the 2016 Democratic primaries. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), who raised almost $6 million in the first 24 hours after announcing his campaign. "And I'm also thinking hard about how do we start talking and listening to each other again?" she said.

Hillary Clinton looked to be the frontrunner in most polls to become the next USA president to succeed Barack Obama, but Trump voters pulled him through in 2016.

Asked if she would run again for some kind of public office, she seemed to avoid ruling that out.

"We've just gotten so polarized", she continued.

"I'm not running", Clinton said definitively.
