Duke big man Marques Bolden will miss the ACC Tournament this week due to a knee injury he sustained Saturday in the opening minutes against North Carolina, Blue Devils coach Mike Krzyzewski said Monday.

"There's no way Marques will be ready for the ACC tournament", Krzyzewski said Monday via the athletic department's website. "Whatever grade [the sprain] is, he's not going to be well in one week, then we'll see".

On the season, Bolden is averaging 5.8 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 1.8 blocks per game, while shooting 60.4% from the field and a much improved 71.8% from the free throw line. The junior went down when trying to block Garrison Brooks' dunk and immediately grabbed his knee in pain.

Amla excused from Proteas squad, father critically ill
Hashim Amla will now miss the final two ODIs South Africa will play before they jet off to the Cricket World Cup. The 28-year-old did not bat as Sri Lanka slumped to a 71-run Duckworth-Lewis-Stern loss in the third ODI.

Bolden is the latest Duke player to sustain a knee sprain after star freshman Zion Williamson went down in the Blue Devils' loss to UNC on February 20. He hasn't been in uniform for Duke's final five regular season games after suffering a sprained right knee. The injury was later diagnosed as an MCL sprain, however they are not yet sure how severe.

The Blue Devils will play either No. 6 seed Syracuse (19-12), No 11 seed Boston College (14-16) or No 14 seed Pittsburgh (13-18). Play SI's Realtime Brackets game.

Boston College and Pitt play Tuesday night at 7 a first-round game.
