Report Cordarrelle Patterson intends to leave Patriots for Bears

Multitalented wide receiver Cordarrelle Patterson intends to sign a two-year, $10 million contract with the Chicago Bears, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported Tuesday.

Patterson was a valuable member of the team previous year, his first and only season in New England, filling a number of different roles.

A few, however, came to the politician's defense, pointing out that expelling air directly over a cake is likely to spread germs. The clip starts with a member of Romney's staff walking into his office with a platter stacked full of Twinkies.

Patterson, 27, is fresh off a season in which he won a Super Bowl with the Patriots. Not only did he play receiver, but the Patriots also regularly lined him as a running back. Patterson scored his only kickoff return for a touchdown with the Patriots in Chicago last October during a 38-31 New England win over the Bears. He had 21 catches for 247 yards and three touchdowns and added 42 carries for 228 rushing yards and a touchdown in 15 games. He returned 23 kicks for 663 yards and a touchdown; his 28.8-yard average ranked third in the NFL. Patterson's versatility will likely make him a flawless fit for Matt Nagy's offense in Chicago, which means you shouldn't be surprised if you see Patterson catching passes, lining up in the backfield and returning kicks for the Bears in 2019.
