Lisa Sheridan, Invasion and Halt and Catch Fire Actress, Dies at 44

'CSI" and "Halt & Catch Fire' star Lisa Sheridan has tragically died at the age of 44.

Friends of the actress also shared the news on social media, including actress Donna D'Errico, who worked with Sheridan on the 2015 film Only God Can.

I just received news that my dear friend, actress Lisa Sheridan, has passed away.

Meanwhile, a socialite and former model, Laura Krupinsky, was also found dead Monday in Southampton, England, just a few months after she lost both her parents and her son in a plane crash. "I am sitting here stunned", D'Errico wrote, explaining that the two women met after becoming close on set of the movie five years ago.

He continued: "Even in her dark moments. She brought a sweetness and bright energy to any room she happened to walk into...even in her darker times".

He said he was "devastated" by their loss and revealed a cause of death is now unknown. During these later years she took to telling me, "You're the greatest big brother a girl could ever have". "Please send up prayers for her family".

Sheridan's manager, Mitch Clem, confirmed her death to People magazine Wednesday evening.

Sheridan died on the morning of February 25 "at home" and "in her apartment in New Orleans", he added. "We are waiting for the coroners", her manager said in a statement (via Deadline).

Addressing reports that Sheridan had taken her own life, he added, "The family has unequivocally confirmed that this is not a suicide". HollywoodLife is taking a look back at her life and will give you the latest details about her tragic death.

Dunaway noted that the actress struggled "over the last few years". She had a main role on the Fox science fiction series "FreakyLinks" and was a guest star on many TV shows including "Monk", "NCIS", and "Scandal".

Friends and fellow actors have been paying tribute. So good night, my sweet little sister. "Sorry that I can't write more; it's just still too painful".

Sheridan, pictured here in Perception, also starred in Legacy, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Journeyman and The Mentalist.

She was in a three-year relationship and engaged to actor Ron Livingston (Office Space, Sex & The City) from 2000-2003.
