The Broncos also boosted their secondary by agreeing a three-year, $33m deal with $23m guaranteed, with long-time Houston Texans defensive back Jackson.

The Macon native was drafted by the Houston Texans in 2010 at number 20 overall in the National Football League draft to play the cornerback position.

The Texans attempted to keep their own star free agent safety on the roster, but ultimaltely lost Tyrann Mathieu to the Chiefs on what amounts to three-year, $42 million deal.

Next flu pandemic 'a matter of when, not if,' says WHO
Better tools to prevent, detect, control and treat both pandemic and seasonal influenza are urgently needed, said the WHO.

For Texans fans reading this post, it's safe to say your team is banking on what Roby can be and not what he actually was in 2018, which was awful. "I feel like I should go back in [the market next year] while I'm still young".

Jackson had one of his best seasons with the Texans last season, he had 87 combined tackles, 17 passes defended, five tackles for loss, two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery, two interceptions, one sack, and one quarterback hit.

The Broncos signed Kareem Jackson, who had spent his entire career in Houston, to replace Roby.

Roby was an original member of the No Fly Zone in 2014 when the Broncos signed Aqib Talib and TJ Ward in free agency before taking him with the 31st overall pick in the NFL Draft. "Denver didn't want me; they wanted someone else. They got the guy they wanted".
