Dolphins emerging to fight Teddy Bridgewater away from Saints

Saints free agency Drew Brees’ restructuring to Teddy Bridgewater’s extension and everything in between

We thought Teddy Bridgewater turned down an offer from the Dolphins to remain with the Saints.

While Saints fans were expecting to welcome Bridgewater back to the team, it looks like another National Football League team is making a play for him.

The 40-year-old Brees had one of his best seasons in 2018, throwing for 3,992 yards, with 32 touchdowns and five interceptions, while completing a record 74.4% of his passes.

A new Saints' coach might want to go in a different direction, perhaps deciding to draft a quarterback instead of handing the starting job over to a player that hasn't been a full-time starter since the 2015 season. Tannehill is expected to be traded or released at some point.

Microsoft’s Xbox Live can soon work in any Android game
Regardless of which features game developers pick, the features will be enabled through a single sign-in to a Microsoft account. They're releasing a new SDK for developers that will allow Xbox Live to be added to Android and iOS apps.

That may not have been the case had Bridgewater signed in Miami.

Obviously, there's more of an opportunity for Bridgewater to start in Miami than in New Orleans.

Bridgewater was chosen by the Vikings in the 1st round of the 2014 draft and made the Pro Bowl in 2015.

METAIRIE, La. - Free agent quarterback Teddy Bridgewater has made a decision to stay with the New Orleans Saints as their backup and potential successor to Drew Brees rather than pursue an immediate starting opportunity with his hometown Miami Dolphins, sources told ESPN's Dianna Russini on Thursday.
