Democrats on Monday will launch an "abuse of power" investigation that could be easily transformed into an even more serious process, with an expansive demand for documents from Trump's government, his family and even his real estate empire.

Trump also touched on various other topics, from Robert Mueller's investigation to America's recent economic successes, the border wall situation, and trade negotiations with China.

The president later discussed his national emergency declaration and how some Republicans have said they're anxious about the precedent it sends to future Democratic presidents, but Trump said what's he's anxious about is murderers, cartels, drugs, and human traffickers coming into the U.S.

He also took a lengthy detour back to the inauguration, claiming that an enormous if not unprecedented crowd showed up, contrary to the thorough video and photo coverage that showed otherwise.

The second meeting between Trump and the DPRK leader Kim Jong Un, in Vietnam, was cut short after they failed to reach a deal on the extent of sanctions relief the DPRK would get in exchange for steps to give up its nuclear program.

Mueller is reportedly due to deliver his final report on the investigation into possible collusion between Russian Federation and the Trump campaign to the attorney general soon.
