NewsReported Updates on Eminem’s Potential Involvement with WWE This Year By Robert De Felice

The Rap God will be in your ears this fall - especially if you're a WWE fan.

According to a report from Fightful, WWE has reached a working agreement with, arguably the greatest rapper of all time, Eminem. 2K Sports has seen the likes of Jay-Z help curate their soundtracks on the basketball end of things, and WWE 2K17 featured a soundtrack curated by P. Diddy. The deal, reached today, was put together in part to promote the launch of WWE Smackdown Live on the Fox Network.

Eminem's spokeperson Dennis Dennehy denied that a deal is done and that it isn't likely to happen. They are also reportedly "planning" on creating a customized championship belt for Eminem. This will, of course, be his first appearance on WWE programming.

As we previously noted, Eminem is currently on tour overseas, so it might be really hard for him to sign this kind of deal right now anyway. "It has not gone beyond preliminary discussions, and any reports to the contrary are false".

Considering how Eminem's management handled the news being leaked, it seems all parties involved would rather be tight lipped on the situation.

In addition to that, Em will also have his music on the soundtrack for the next annual WWE 2K game which is expected for an October release. Perhaps not: Fightful have continued to stick by their story.
