Update: Footage Released of Conor McGregor Stomping Out a Cell Phone

The alleged incident happened in the early hours Monday when McGregor was leaving the Fountainbleau and Ahmed Abdirzak, from London, tried to take photos of the former two-division UFC champion.

McGregor had just fulfilled the community service portion of his plea agreement with NY prior to the phone-smashing incident in Miami. He was later arrested and charged with felony counts of strong-arm robbery and criminal mischief.

Conor McGregor's phone smashing incident was caught on video and now that footage has surfaced online. Abdirzk thought McGregor was coming in for a handshake, but instead McGregor allegedly slapped the phone out of Abdirzk's hand and stomped on it several times.

Abdirzk valued the smashed and missing phone at $1,000. What can also be seen and heard is the fan pleading to McGregor to give him his phone back, though based on the power and force behind each strike it's likely the phone was damaged upon fix.

Otherwise, it should be noted that McGregor had just finished his community service work after an arrest past year in NY, where the former UFC champion ultimately pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct and avoided jail time. He just ended his six-month suspension from the Nevada State Athletic Commission for his role in the UFC 229 post-fight brawl.

McGregor is expected back in court on April 10.
